A Tibetan monk lighting brass butter lamps in a temple, creating a peaceful and spiritual meditation atmosphere

The Monthly Light

In Tibet, light has a temperature. It has a soul.

On the first day of every lunar month, we gather the names of our Vishwa family. We invite monks at a Tibetan monastery to offer butter lamps on behalf of everyone who subscribed.

There is no name carved on the lamp. But the prayers for "peace," "freedom from worry," and "health" rise with the juniper smoke, traveling across oceans to wherever you are—whether you are.

What is a Butter Lamp?

🧈 Not just fire. Wisdom.
In Tibetan Buddhism, lighting a lamp is an act of illuminating the mind. It dispels confusion and darkness, inviting clarity into your life.

🕯️ Not just a wish. Connection.
As the monks chant and the horns echo through the hall, the flickering light crosses time zones. It connects us to you—and to everyone who values a moment of stillness.

🤍 Not just a ritual. Daily kindness.
Just as a Tibetan might offer a bowl of water for a loved one, we offer this light. In a world of fast clicks and faster shipping, this is our way of preserving a quiet, ancient kindness for you.

How to Receive the Light

Enter your email below. That's it.

We Gather: We collect all emails (in the name of "Vishwa") and prepare them for the monthly prayer list.

The Offering: On a sacred day each month, the list is sent to our partner monastery in Tibet. Monks offer butter lamps and chant prayers for peace and well-being.

The Echo: You receive a simple email. No marketing. Just a photo of that month's lamps and one word: Tashi Delek (Tibetan for "may all be auspicious").
