A small, balanced form for your everyday carry.

This is not a symbol. It is a shape - one that has been admired for centuries across the Himalayas for its perfect symmetry and quiet strength.

The Vajra (or Dorje) is an object of balance. Its two ends mirror each other: what is above, is also below. In traditional Himalayan metalwork, this form represents the quality of being unshakeable - not as a shield, but as a state of inner steadiness.

Handcrafted from solid brass and finished with a vintage patina, this pendant has a satisfying weight - not heavy, but present. You’ll feel it against your keys, on your bag, in your palm.

Carry it as a daily companion. A small, still object to remind you: balance is not something you find. It’s something you return to.

Handmade in the Himalayas – Each piece is hand-finished. Slight variations in patina are part of its character.

Features

🔱 A Shape of Balance
The Vajra form is defined by its perfect symmetry - two mirrored ends meeting at a central point. In traditional Himalayan aesthetics, this structure represents stability, harmony, and the quality of being centered. It is not a belief. It is a design principle - one that you can hold in your hand.

🥉 Solid Brass, Living Finish
Made from durable brass, not plated metal. The vintage patina is intentional - slightly darkened, slightly worn, like something that has already lived a good life. Over time, it will develop a deeper tone, becoming richer with use.

✨ Hand-Finished Details
Every curve and carved line is completed by hand. The textured patterns are not stamped; they are crafted - one at a time. Small variations are not flaws. They are the signature of human touch.

🎒 Designed for Daily Carry

  • On your keys – a satisfying weight, a quiet clink
  • On your backpack – a distinctive, handcrafted accent
  • As a zipper pull – a small ritual every time you reach for your bag
  • On your desk – a miniature sculpture, still and balanced
  • As a pendant – thread it onto a cord or chain for a statement piece

🌄 A Reminder, Not a Ritual
This pendant belongs to no tradition. It is simply an object - but an object made with care. And sometimes, that is enough to remind you: balance is not about holding still. It’s about returning, again and again, to your own center.

FAQs

Q1: Will the brass change color over time?
Yes. Solid brass naturally develops a deeper patina over time, creating a richer vintage appearance that many collectors appreciate. If you prefer to maintain the original tone, you can gently polish it with a soft brass cloth.

Q2: Can it be used as a necklace pendant?
Absolutely. With a cord, leather strap, or chain, it becomes a statement pendant - substantial but not heavy.

Q3: Is it heavy?
It has a satisfying metal weight - present in your hand, but comfortable for daily carry on keys or bags (7.3cm length).

Q4: Is this suitable as a gift?
Yes. Its balanced design, handcrafted quality, and compact size make it a unique gift for anyone who appreciates Himalayan-inspired artistry, vintage objects, or simply a well-made daily companion.

Q5: Is each piece identical?
No. Because each piece is hand-finished and the brass patina develops naturally, slight variations in tone and texture may occur - making every piece unique.

Q6: What is the Vajra form inspired by?
The Vajra (or Dorje) is a traditional Himalayan motif admired for its perfect symmetry and balanced structure. It is not a religious symbol in this context, but a design form that represents harmony, stability, and centeredness - qualities that resonate across cultures.

Master Craftswoman: Tenzin Lhamo

Behind each bracelet is the steady hand and mindful heart of Tenzin Lhamo, a generation craftswoman whose roots trace back to a family of artisans in Lhasa.

“Every bead has heard prayers.”

Tenzin's family has crafted protection bracelets for generations. Tenzin began learning at seven—her first lesson was not skill, but stillness: “My grandmother had me sit in the morning wind and listen. She said, ‘The rhythm of your fingers should follow the heartbeat; the intention of your weaving should move with the breath, weaving prayers into knots.’

A Tibetan girl in traditional clothing stands on tiptoes, reaching out to touch a young child standing against a red wall.

Meeting VISHWA

Three years ago, VISHWA’s founders found Tenzin's workshop in a quiet alley in Lhasa. They gathered around a charcoal fire as she shared the story behind each stone. They noticed Tenzin murmuring softly as he wove—not prayers, but simple wishes for the unknown wearer: “May you face storms without fear,” “May you remember joy.”

In that moment, VISHWA understood what true luxury meant: not the weight of gems, but the depth of blessings; not the complexity of craft, but the silence and intention woven into every piece.

Behind every VISHWA piece is a keeper like Tenzin

“I sense where a bracelet is meant to go—perhaps to an office in New York, or to a School in California. Then I weave in a little more scent of sunlight.”

Through VISHWA, Tenzin's bracelets are no longer only gifts for local pilgrims. They travel across oceans to become a tangible stillness on urban wrists—a silent embrace from the rooftop of the world.

“My hands will grow old, but the wishes in these knots will not. They will keep breathing on someone’s wrist, somewhere far away.”
